Publication ethics
Publication ethics of the Journal’s authors
A research article (article) is an author’s completed work either describing the results of an original scientific study (an original research article) or analysing previously published scientific articles related to a particular topic (a review scientific article).
The author(s) of a research article is a person (group of people) having made a substantial contribution to either research design and conception, data collection and treatment, the analysis and interpretation of the results, or drafting the manuscript.
Authors retain copyright and grant Vestnik MGSU right of first publication on the basis of non-exclusive license.
Authors are responsible for:
- accuracy, validity and completeness of the information presented in their scientific manuscript
- completeness of the information about all the co-authors
- correctness of the information about the co-authors’ affiliations
- correctness of the citations and bibliographic references to original sources
- correctness of bibliographic information representation in compliance with the Journal’s requirements
- coordination of all changes made to the text of the manuscript based on the results of its review and editing with the co-authors and the Journal’s editors.
Authors must immediately inform the Editor-in-Chief about any errorsthat have been revealed in their work, at any stage of the publication process with a view to correcting these errors or retracting the published article.
Authors must disclose any tangible or intangible conflicts of interest that could have had an impact on the research results and their interpretation, including cooperation with third-party and funding organizations (such as research grants, conference presentations, lecturing, training seminars, consultations).
Authors must notify the Editors of their other publications on a related topic being considered for publication (not published yet) in other journals. By submitting their manuscript to Vestnik MGSU, Authors confirm that it has not previously been published and is not under consideration in any other journal.
Authors must take the necessary steps to ensure the correctness of citations in the submitted article. Correct bibliographic references to the sources of borrowed illustrations, graphs, tables or other materials must be provided. When using information obtained from confidential sources, the authors are required to obtain appropriate consent.
Authors must never borrow another person’s work or part thereof without reference to the primary source.
Prior to publication of their manuscript, Authors must provide their full and unconditional consent with the Journal’s editorial policy by signing the author’s agreement (public offer) about granting non-exclusive rights of first publication to Vestnik MGSU.

The structure and content of the abstract should correspond to the structure and content of the main text of the article. It should comprise the following sections:
- Introduction formulates aims and objectives, main research questions and explains the relevance of the study;
- Materials and methods section specifies what has served as material for the analysis and describes the research methodology used;
- Results section aims to present main theoretical and experimental findings, discovered relationships and patterns. Preference should be given to the description of novel findings demonstrating a significant practical importance.
- Conclusions section briefly summarizes the results and indicates main directions for further research.
- Keywords consist of the search terms used by bibliographic databases to search for scientific information by keyword. For this reason, the keywords should reflect the main statements, achievements, results and terminology of scientific research. The recommended number of keywords is 5–10.
Acknowledgments. In this section, mention should be made of people who helped the author to prepare the article and/or any organizations that provided financial support. Expressing gratitude to anonymous reviewers is considered good form. This section is included in the article if necessary.
